Step Teachers
Step Teachers are collaborating with a Primary school that prioritizes putting the children at the centre of all decisions, ensuring that both staff and students are motivated and eager to pursue endless opportunities. They are seeking a Year 2/3 Teacher to join their team starting from December 2024, for a long-term supply position. The appointed Year 2/3 Teacher will be responsible for guiding a well-behaved and enthusiastic group of primary level students. The ideal Year 2/3 Teacher should be enthusiastic and prepared to actively engage with their students, contributing to the school’s respectful, welcoming, and secure learning environment.
Year 2/3 Teacher – Role:
- Able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
- Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
- Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
- Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Year 2/3 Teacher – Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Have recent experience as a Primary level Supply Teacher – Key Stage 1.
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
- Driver’s license is preferred, but not required.
