Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

A SEN school in Wandsworth is looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA). You will be working with a pathway of pupils with needs inclusive of multi-sensory impairment (MSI) including hearing (HI) and visual impairments (VI). Those with experience in sign language and/or braille is ideal but not essential. The school is very well equipped and resourced with latest technology to ensure staff and pupils are supported to the utmost.

Position details:

· Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to start ASAP

· Long-term and scope to go permanent, based on your performance

· Hours are 8:30am-4:00pm

The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will have:

· At least 3 months’ experience supporting special and additional needs, especially multi-sensory impairment (MSI) including hearing (HI) and visual impairments (VI).

· Patience, empathy and a willingness to learn
