Senior Advisor Safeguarding Adults (Hybrid) needed in Newham, £319.13 per day PAYE – Reference: RQ1120972
Overall Purpose of Job
To support and ensure statutory responsibilities in Safeguarding Adults are met, specific legislation sets out safeguarding adult’s board’s roles and functions, membership and accountabilities, to hold agencies more easily to account and to clarify responsibilities, to ensure participation in ways which statutory guidance is differentially binding on the partners
To lead on the development and implementation of the a multi-agency Safeguarding, MCA and DoLS training strategy and programme for managers, staff and partners including learning from Safeguarding Adults Reviews, Learning Disability mortality Reviews, internal management reviews and audits
To oversee and facilitate the safeguarding governance arrangements, and associated delivery structures, policy changes and data performance improvements and submissions across Adults services, including the management of organisational enquiries, whilst ensuring professional standards of practice are embedded with active user and carer participation.
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
