Quality Assurance Engineer – Exciting FinTech Scale Up – London

Join an award-winning FinTech scale-up located in central London. We are on the lookout for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to elevate the team. They’re current partnerships include prestigious financial firms such as Goldman Sachs, LSEAG, and Nasdaq.

Quality Assurance Engineer Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams to establish and maintain quality standards.
• Define quality processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Gather requirements, design test plans, and implement solutions in coordination with product and development teams.
• Maintain and enhance existing test suites.
• Provide mentorship to development teams for adherence to quality standards.

Quality Assurance Engineer Essential Experience:

• Minimum 2:1 degree, preferably in Computer Science or other STEM field.
• Experience in Automated Testing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar quality engineering role within an agile software development environment.
• Solid programming experience in languages such as Python, Typescript, and Groovy.

Quality Assurance Engineer Nice to Haves:

• Proficient in UI and API test automation (Playwright, Selenium, Pytest, Jest).
• Experienced in creating test frameworks from scratch.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Skilled in Docker containers on Linux.
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud services.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
