Production Team Leader

Orion is proud to partner with our fantastic, key client once again, who are industry leaders within the Automotive sector. They are looking at expanding their team of production experts by embedding a talented and experienced Production Team Leader to support their core hours: 6am ” 2.30pm, Monday to Friday.

After significant expansion, it has allowed them to create growth across the business & we are lucky to have been asked to support them on their latest mission to recruit an additional Production Team Leader for them on a full time permanent basis.

Title: Production Team Leader

Location: Oxford

Salary: up to 37,000

Days: Monday ” Friday

The Production Team Leader will take charge on the following areas:

• Oversee the assembly production area across 12 multi-skilled technicians
• Manage the material workflow of the assembly area to ensure that there is adequate material and component parts for your technicians to work with 
• Ensure that the quality standards are upheld so they are rigorous standards which cannot be compromised 
• Collaborate with the Head of Production on production goals for the assembly area, ensure that they are reached as well as work on improvement ideas for the team. 
• Planning shifts, overtime, holiday and sickness within the team.

What we would like to see you be able to demonstrate on your CV:

• A minimum of 2 years experience working as either a; Production Team Leader, Manufacturing Team Leader or Cell Leader within a Automotive environment 
• Very good problem solving skills
• Previous direct reports
• Previous experience with a busy environment
• Happy to work the shift hours of 6am ” 2.30pm, Monday to Friday
