They believe in fostering a positive Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) culture within our organization. To help them realise this ambition, we are looking for a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Coordinator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in achieving our business objectives. You will:

  • Support department heads in implementing comprehensive risk assessment processes, including task-specific assessments and environmental assessments.
  • Provide expert SHE advice to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that inspections and audits are fully compliant, reporting findings and proposing improvements.
  • Investigate accidents, near misses, illnesses, and emergency responses, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Monitor and report on SHE-related KPIs and performance indicators.
  • Support the delivery of SHE-related training.
  • Promote a positive Safety, Health, Wellbeing, and Environmental culture.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of UK HSE policies.
  • Assist with company security systems management.

Required Qualifications

The successful HSE Coordinator should have:

– NEBOSH General Certificate.
– Environmental qualification (NEBOSH or IEMA – desirable).
– Membership of a professional body (IOSH, IEMA, or equivalent experience).
– Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
– Internal Auditor experience.

Essential Experience/Knowledge

  • Experience in conducting risk assessments.
  • Knowledge of environmental management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Office software.
  • Ability to conduct task-specific, COSHH, and DSE risk assessments.
