Step Teachers
Step Teachers, as a part of our ongoing success in building and retaining relationships with many schools and academy trusts in the area, are currently looking for an English Teacher for a lovely Secondary School in Bromley. This is a permanent role available in January 2024.
This is a “Good” Ofsted-rated school where the school is well-led. Senior leaders, governors and the trust are open and honest about the school’s weaknesses. They identify the improvements needed and take decisive action to make these happen.
The role:

Possess strong knowledge of the English curriculum at the KS3 and KS4 levels

Upkeep a clean, tidy, and considerate classroom environment

Display a strong, mentoring personality toward students

Cultivate positive relationships with students, working to inspire good behaviour and a passion for learning

Co-operate with and support your colleagues and additional classroom staff

Comply with and implement the school’s policies, and take part in their supportive educational ethos
Requirements for this role:

QTS or equivalent
-
Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching English
-
A relevant subject-specific degree is desirable
-
Fully Enhanced DBS on the update service
